Krystal A. Smith is a Black lesbian writer of poetry and speculative fiction. Her poetry can be read at Entropy Magazine, Kissing Dynamite, Emerge Literary Journal, and Serendipity Literary Magazine. Her debut collection Two Moons: Stories was released from BLF Press (2018) and was a 2019 Lambda Literary Award Finalist.
Almah LaVon Rice is a writer based in Pittsburgh, PA. Her work has appeared in Colorlines, Lambda Literary Report, Tomboyz Quarterly, Washington Blade, The Feminist Wire, Color Bloq, Xtra Magazine, Oh Reader Magazine, Airbnb Online Magazine, and GUTS: A Canadian Feminist Magazine, among numerous other publications. Her writing has also been published in the Lambda Literary Award-winning does your mama know?: An Anthology of Black Lesbian Coming Out Stories (revised edition); Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries; Solace: Writing, Refuge, and LGBTQ Women of Color; and The Ringing Ear: Black Poets Lean South. Her fiction is forthcoming in Unfettered Hexes: Queer Tales of Insatiable Darkness as well as A Quiet Afternoon 2; her creative nonfiction will be appearing in Black Femme Collective's TASTE collection.
